About Lois

Professionally, I've been in the field of psychotherapy for over 36 years! Rather than calling myself "older" I prefer to describe myself as "wiser" just because of all my various lived experiences, not because of any super human feat!  Over my life span I have developed a number of specialites in the areas of trauma and attachment, family therapy and clinical consultation and supervision. I'm trained and an approved consultant in the Internal Family Systems Model of Psychotherapy and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing. I have specialized training and experience in the treatment of developmental trauma and attachment wounds, clinical supervision and consultation and the health and wellness in the person of the therapist. In addition I administered and developed a number of human services organizations and some professionals request my guidance on those issues as well.

On a more personal note I am a grandmother of three young girls who bring much light to my heart whenever I think about them! I have been married to my husband Bob for over 41 years and in his retirement Bob became the fiscal manager of my professional trainings. I love the beach and have a semi retirement home at the NJ shore. I also love the hills and valleys I experience in the family home in central Pennsylvania. Crocheting, bike riding, journaling, meditation and art work is how I nurture my own soul and spirit and how I promote my own self care.

Contact me if you are interested in seeing if what I have to offer is something you would benefit from.  In any case I wish you only peace and fulfillment in each and every step you take along your path on life's journey.
